Single Cask Edition

Our first single cask to wash ashore, is an outstanding example of the Agricole style the French Caribbean is famous for. The fermentation of sugar cane juice provides a distinct fruity yet funky base character. Spending the first part of its life in French virgin oak, combined with the hot humid climate of Mauritius has allowed for rapid development of fruity notes and wood oils into what can only be described as wine gums for adults, while adding complexity to an evolving and lingering mouth feel.

Once ashore the cask has been re racked into Ex Bourbon cask allowing the liquid to benefit from the low and slow finishing of a bourbon cask in our cold UK climate to smooth and mellow the spirit to create the perfect dram.
